Originally an old Victorian shipping magnates house, now tastefully converted into a 3 star hotel with excellent leisure and conference facilities.  Our recently refurbished restaurant named "J's @ 636" has a contemporary feel, and an excellent reputation for first class food, at affordable prices.

The new owners have spent considerable time & money on the restaurant - not only on design, but also on the quality of the food!  Head Chef Mark Livingstone is passionate about producing top quality dishes  using only the best of local produce - and the restaurant is now going from strength to strength, with the food rivaling, and beating the top eateries in the area!!
 
Leisure facilities include an indoor deck level swimming pool, sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy pool and beauty salon.  For the more energetic there is a fully equipped state of the art gym, housing new CYBEX equipment, and a dance studio offering a full range of classes.

The Hotel can accommodate conferences from 2 to 130, lunches & dinners, weddings & functions for up to 120.  We always try our best to say "yes" to all your requests, and our new conference, banqueting & wedding packages can be tailored to suit!

Situated opposite Eaglescliffe golf course, 1 mile from picturesque Yarm with its cobbled high street and ancient viaduct, the Hotel offers a perfect base for business and leisure clients.
